Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 299.46 points up at 60231.7 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Adani Ent.(down 30.00 per cent), Hind Const Co(down 16.85 per cent), Vegetable Products(down 16.73 per cent), Modella Woollen(down 14.54 per cent) and Royal India Corp(down 13.81 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.
In the Nifty pack, 22 stocks traded in the green, while 28 stocks traded in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 28.05 points up at 17638.45.
On the BSE, Adani Ent., S H Kelkar & Co., Adani Transmission, Adani Green and Quint Digital Media hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Dhyaani Tile and Marblez Ltd., NDR Auto Components, Aegis Logistics, Mold Tek Tech and Maan Aluminium touched their fresh 52-week highs.
