Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 461.02 points up at 61082.79 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Stellar Capital Svcs(down 15.47 per cent), Dr. Agarwals Eye H(down 14.07 per cent), Modella Woollen(down 13.97 per cent), Ambition Mica(down 9.93 per cent) and Otco Intnl(down 9.83 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 39 stocks traded in the green, while 11 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 123.0 points up at 18150.65.

On the BSE, Newtime Infrastructure Ltd., SVS Ventures Ltd., Hind Nat Glass, Jaypee Infra and Atlas Jewellery Ind hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Sovereign Diam, Josts Engineering, T & I Global, RDB Realty and Expo Gas Cont touched their fresh 52-week highs.
