Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 31 stocks were trading in the green, while 18 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 294.03 points up at 61134.77 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Tasty Dairy Speciali(down 19.85 per cent), Chandni Machines(down 15.23 per cent), Tranway Technologies(down 9.66 per cent), Indo-City Info(down 9.46 per cent) and Royal India Corp(down 9.09 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 31 stocks traded in the green, while 18 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 85.3 points up at 18190.6.

On the BSE, Padam Cotton, Bhoruka Alum, Dhruv Wellness, Inceptum Enterprises and Sintex Inds. hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Kalyani Invst, Usha Martin, Tainwala Chem, Mold Tek Tech and MPDL touched their fresh 52-week highs.
