Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 24 stocks were trading in the green, while 24 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 154.97 points up at 62027.96 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Retro Green Revoluti(down 10.63 per cent), Sun Retail(down 10.29 per cent), Trident Lifeline Ltd.(down 10.28 per cent), NEL Holdings(down 9.86 per cent) and Himalaya Food Inter(down 9.61 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 24 stocks traded in the green, while 24 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 32.65 points up at 18436.05.

On the BSE, TIL Ltd, Pace E-Commerce Ventures Ltd., DCM Shriram, PrismxGlobalVent and Marsons Ltd hit their fresh 52-week lows, while HUDCO, Tanfac Ind, Kirloskar Oil, Kanco Tea and Gujarat Themis touched their fresh 52-week highs.
