Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 35 stocks were trading in the green, while 14 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 218.14 points up at 59762.1 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, NMDC(down 18.20 per cent), Mafia Trends Ltd.(down 17.39 per cent), Digicontent(down 15.58 per cent), Gland Pharma(down 14.80 per cent) and Shree Precoated(down 13.40 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 35 stocks traded in the green, while 14 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 71.85 points up at 17728.2.

On the BSE, Gland Pharma, Maagh Advertising And Marketing Services Ltd., Nagarjuna Fertilizer, FSN E-Comm(Nykaa)and Amber Enterprises hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Nalwa Sons Invst, MAC Hotels, Yash Chemex Ltd., Cargotrans Maritime Ltd. and Ashirwad Steels touched their fresh 52-week highs.
