Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 417.4 points up at 56827.36 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Akshar Spintex(down 19.96 per cent), Indo-City Info(down 18.74 per cent), Maha Corp Ltd(down 12.00 per cent), Cospower Engg (down 9.98 per cent) and Gujarat Hy-Spin(down 9.96 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.
In the Nifty pack, 31 stocks traded in the green, while 19 stocks traded in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 112.25 points up at 16930.35.
On the BSE, Marsons Ltd, DRC Systems India Ltd., Radha Madhav, Shubham Polyspin and Tilak Ventures hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Shree Securities, Containe Technologies Ltd., Insecticide Ind, Captain Technocast and Synthiko Foils touched their fresh 52-week highs.
