Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 284.65 points up at 60126.86 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Saboo Sodium(down 47.40 per cent), Wherrelz IT Solutions Ltd.(down 19.98 per cent), Promax Power Ltd.(down 19.77 per cent), Modella Woollen(down 14.77 per cent) and Tarapur Trans(down 12.94 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.
In the Nifty pack, 35 stocks traded in the green, while 15 stocks traded in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 84.2 points up at 17909.45.
On the BSE, Saboo Sodium(PP), Wherrelz IT Solutions Ltd., Bajaj Hindusthan Su, GVK Power Infra and Scintilla Commercial hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Advait Infratech, RO Jewels, Shreeji Translogisti, S Chand & Co and KBS India touched their fresh 52-week highs.
