Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE
In the Nifty pack, 31 stocks were trading in the green, while 18 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 144.61 points up at 58443.41 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, K&R Rail Engineering(down 19.90 per cent), Starlit Power Sys.(down 18.63 per cent), Promax Power Ltd.(down 16.02 per cent), Medi-Caps Ltd(down 10.56 per cent) and Vision Cinemas(down 10.00 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.
In the Nifty pack, 31 stocks traded in the green, while 18 stocks traded in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 38.95 points up at 17420.95.
On the BSE, Starlit Power Sys., ISF Ltd, Ramgopal Poly, Karda Const and Birla Tyres hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Cochin Minerals, Creative Eye, Veerkrupa Jewellers Ltd., Fineotex Chem and Himadri Speciality touched their fresh 52-week highs.
