Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 28 stocks were trading in the green, while 22 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 72.03 points up at 55753.98 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Aananda Lakshmi Spin(down 19.93 per cent), Anjani Finance(down 17.83 per cent), Khemani Dist(down 9.83 per cent), Gemstone Invst(down 9.57 per cent) and Goodyear India(down 9.44 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 28 stocks traded in the green, while 22 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 24.0 points up at 16629.25.

On the BSE, Future Retail, Wagend Infra, Shree Ganesh Bio-Tec, BFL Asset Finvest and Fraser & Company hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works Ltd., Hindustan Foods, Omaxe, Haria Apparels and VCU Data Mgmt touched their fresh 52-week highs.
