Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 103.55 points up at 55501.08 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Focus Business Solution Ltd.(down 14.84 per cent), GKB Ophthalmics(down 10.73 per cent), Sovereign Diam(down 9.95 per cent), Aditya Ispat(down 9.90 per cent) and Glittek Granite(down 9.80 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.
In the Nifty pack, 40 stocks traded in the green, while 9 stocks traded in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 35.75 points up at 16556.6.
On the BSE, Gland Pharma, Srestha Finvest, Seacoast Shipping, BFL Asset Finvest and Vikas Proppant & Gr hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Hindustan Foods, Rajnish Wellness, Atam Valves, VCU Data Mgmt and Gensol Engg touched their fresh 52-week highs.
