Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 26 stocks were trading in the green, while 24 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 230.67 points up at 52772.06 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Olympic Cards(down 18.26 per cent), Martin Burn(down 15.02 per cent), Manomay Tex India(down 14.04 per cent), DMR Hydroengineering & Infrastructure Ltd.(down 13.79 per cent) and Anjani Finance(down 13.21 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 26 stocks traded in the green, while 24 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 54.15 points up at 15746.3.

On the BSE, Sagar Cements, Netripples Software, Arshiya, Spicejet and Heidelberg Cement hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Marathon Nextgen, KPI Global Infra, Galactico Corporate, ST Corporation and Chennai Ferrous Indu touched their fresh 52-week highs.
