Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 188.82 points up at 53035.52 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Glittek Granite(down 19.64 per cent), Olympic Cards(down 16.99 per cent), Simplex Realty(down 14.16 per cent), Alfa Transform(down 10.00 per cent) and G G Engineering(down 10.00 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.
In the Nifty pack, 41 stocks traded in the green, while 9 stocks traded in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 69.05 points up at 15843.45.
On the BSE, G R Infraprojects Ltd., Seacoast Shipping, SAL Automotive, Nilkamal Ltd and Aptus Value Housing hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works Ltd., Akashdeep Metal, Akshar Spintex, Gensol Engg and Lords Chloro touched their fresh 52-week highs.
