Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 988.89 points up at 55873.55 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Kkalpana lndustries(down 19.89 per cent), Aayush Food & Herbs(down 19.77 per cent), Monnet Ispat(down 18.77 per cent), Sambandam Spin(down 16.16 per cent) and Unique Organics(down 15.68 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.
In the Nifty pack, 44 stocks traded in the green, while 6 stocks traded in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 264.0 points up at 16616.45.
On the BSE, Mangalam Organics, Ethos Ltd., Ind-Swift Labs, Future Retail and Tasty Bite Eatable hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Sharpline Broadcast Ltd., Moongipa Securities, Impex Ferro Tech, Kohinoor Foods and Metal Coatings touched their fresh 52-week highs.
