Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 87.32 points up at 54557.99 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, HP Cotton Text(down 15.83 per cent), Premier Poly(down 13.85 per cent), Trigyn Tech(down 12.68 per cent), Uma Exports Ltd.(down 10.46 per cent) and Rainbow Childrens Medicare Ltd.(down 10.25 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.
In the Nifty pack, 29 stocks traded in the green, while 21 stocks traded in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 20.9 points up at 16322.75.
On the BSE, Rainbow Childrens Medicare Ltd., Seacoast Shipping, Purple Entertainment, Ashima Ltd and Karda Const hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Tamboli Capital, Optimus Finance, Axita Cotton, Megastar Foods and Shankar Lal Rampal touched their fresh 52-week highs.
