Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 213.85 points up at 57033.24 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Polymac Thermoform(down 19.88 per cent), Karda Const(down 19.57 per cent), Titaanium Ten Enterp(down 15.82 per cent), Network18 Media(down 11.92 per cent) and Northern Spirits(down 11.27 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 34 stocks traded in the green, while 16 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 64.55 points up at 17102.95.

On the BSE, Karda Const, Zee Learn, Lerthai Finance, Future Retail and Janus Corporation hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Nagpur Power, Manaksia Ltd, Manaksia Steels, Rita Finance and Leasing Ltd. and Veranda Learning Solutions Ltd. touched their fresh 52-week highs.
