Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 39 stocks were trading in the green, while 11 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 210.56 points up at 58779.07 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Hind Oil Expl(down 10.37 per cent), Kandagiri Spin(down 8.35 per cent), Tyroon Tea Co(down 7.54 per cent), Sanco Trans(down 6.29 per cent) and Greycells Edu(down 6.06 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 39 stocks traded in the green, while 11 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 65.25 points up at 17530.0.

On the BSE, Supreme Infra, GMR Power and Urban Infra Ltd., Evoq Remedies Ltd., Nam Securities and Continental Pet hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Jagsonpal Pharm, Raj Rayon, Vidhi Specialty Food, Nahar Capital and India Glycols touched their fresh 52-week highs.
