Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 142.71 points up at 58132.01 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Ascensive Educare Ltd.(down 11.14 per cent), Vamshi Rubber(down 10.00 per cent), Garware Synth(down 9.82 per cent), Dolfin Rubbers(down 9.48 per cent) and Haryana Capfin(down 8.39 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.
In the Nifty pack, 37 stocks traded in the green, while 13 stocks traded in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 43.3 points up at 17358.8.
On the BSE, Ascensive Educare Ltd., Sahara One Media, Janus Corporation, Aayush Food & Herbs and Asit C Mehta hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Ganesh Housing, Royal Orchid, Birla Cable, North Eastern and Vitesse Agro L touched their fresh 52-week highs.
