Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 1320.74 points up at 55968.07 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, AKM Lace and Embrote(down 14.68 per cent), Agrimony Comdts.(down 9.92 per cent), B P Capital(down 7.79 per cent), Kandagiri Spin(down 7.20 per cent) and Rajeswari Infra(down 6.94 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.
In the Nifty pack, 45 stocks traded in the green, while 5 stocks traded in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 373.1 points up at 16718.45.
On the BSE, U P Hotels Ltd., Vaghani Techno, SoftTech Engineers, Janus Corporation and Tarini International hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Sprayking Agro Equip, Ultracab(India), Swan Energy, CL Educate and Chothani Foods touched their fresh 52-week highs.
