Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 329.09 points up at 58795.06 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Forbes Company(down 92.79 per cent), GE Power India (down 20.00 per cent), Solara Active Pharma(down 20.00 per cent), Baschem Pharma Ltd.(down 12.56 per cent) and Quess Corp(down 11.54 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.
In the Nifty pack, 32 stocks traded in the green, while 18 stocks traded in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 98.8 points up at 17562.6.
On the BSE, Forbes Company, Solara Active Pharma, GE Power India, Vaghani Techno and SMS Pharma hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Shalibhadra Fin, Adani Wilmar Ltd., Naysaa Securities, Hindustan Comp and Shri Venkatesh Refineries Ltd. touched their fresh 52-week highs.
