Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 36 stocks were trading in the green, while 14 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 395.86 points up at 59258.43 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Atam Valves(down 17.99 per cent), Pyxis Finvest(down 17.25 per cent), Kaarya Facilities(down 9.85 per cent), Modipon Ltd(down 6.89 per cent) and Rajeswari Infra(down 6.45 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 36 stocks traded in the green, while 14 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 118.4 points up at 17695.25.

On the BSE, Riddhi Corp. Service, Superior Finlease, Janus Corporation, MAC Hotels and Hind Nat Glass hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Dhanvarsha Finvest, Everest Ind, Nahar Poly Film, Safari Ind and Sumuka Agro Ind. touched their fresh 52-week highs.
