Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 692.97 points up at 57893.20 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Captain Technocast(down 16.27 per cent), Jetmall Spices and Masala Ltd.(down 12.79 per cent), Pioneer Embroid(down 9.06 per cent), Ambica Agarbathies & Aroma Industries Ltd.(down 8.58 per cent) and Vipul Organics(down 8.09 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 47 stocks traded in the green, while 2 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 210.95 points up at 17312.9.

On the BSE, Jetmall Spices and Masala Ltd., Asian Hotels(W), Hind Nat Glass, Janus Corporation and Palm Jewels hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Shilchar Tech, SPS Finquest, Honda Siel Power, Orbit Exports and Kriti Nutrients touched their fresh 52-week highs.
