Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 38 stocks were trading in the green, while 11 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 556.12 points up at 58809.94 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Advait Infratech(down 9.99 per cent), Megastar Foods(down 9.88 per cent), Saven Tech(down 9.26 per cent), Kimia Biosciences(down 7.47 per cent) and Sahara Housing(down 7.23 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 38 stocks traded in the green, while 11 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 158.15 points up at 17512.2.

On the BSE, Janus Corporation, Brandbucket Media & Technology Ltd., RCL Retail Ltd., Indra Industries and Empower India hit their fresh 52-week lows, while ARSS Infra, AK Spintex L, Swelect Energy, Shree Rama Multi and Alpa Labs touched their fresh 52-week highs.
