Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 23 stocks were trading in the green, while 27 stocks were trading in the red.

Nifty moved in a tight range of 82 points, and ended slightly below the psychologically crucial level of 15,700.
NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 67.53 points up at 57965.01 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Unjha Form(down 12.30 per cent), Prime Fresh(down 9.44 per cent), Stellar Capital Svcs(down 9.41 per cent), Arcee Ind(down 8.26 per cent) and Manaksia Aluminium(down 7.63 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 23 stocks traded in the green, while 27 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 11.5 points up at 17244.75.

On the BSE, Generic Pharmasec and G G Engineering hit their fresh 52-week lows, while HB Stockholding, SSPDL Ltd, H S India, Advait Infratech and NACL Industries touched their fresh 52-week highs.
