Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 44 stocks were trading in the green, while 6 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 319.17 points up at 57739.41 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Cranex Ltd(down 12.57 per cent), BCL Enterprises(down 9.95 per cent), Stellar Capital Svcs(down 8.81 per cent), PTL Enterprises(down 7.98 per cent) and Shri Venkatesh Refineries Ltd.(down 7.82 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 44 stocks traded in the green, while 6 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 99.65 points up at 17185.9.

On the BSE, G G Engineering, Aroma Enterpris, Jyothy Labs, Uday Jewellery and Shyamkamal Invst hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Supriya Lifescience Ltd., Shiva Mills, Solitaire Mach, Swasti Vinayaka and Relic Techn touched their fresh 52-week highs.
