Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 888.81 points up at 57635.95 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Athena Constructions(down 18.60 per cent), Chandrima Mercantile(down 15.83 per cent), Ambition Mica(down 15.04 per cent), Gujarat Lease(down 13.58 per cent) and RTCL Ltd(down 12.16 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.
In the Nifty pack, 43 stocks traded in the green, while 7 stocks traded in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 257.6 points up at 17169.85.
On the BSE, Athena Constructions, Sparkling(India), ANS Industries, SSPN Finance L and Kansal Fibres hit their fresh 52-week lows, while DMR Hydroengineering & Infrastructure Ltd., Ramky Infra, Natural Capsule, Asian Tea Exp and CNI Research touched their fresh 52-week highs.
