Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 38 stocks were trading in the green, while 12 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 218.14 points up at 60247.20 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Tanvi Foods(India)(down 19.97 per cent), Bharat Gears(down 10.70 per cent), Waa Solar(down 9.96 per cent), United Credit(down 8.46 per cent) and Arcee Ind(down 8.08 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 38 stocks traded in the green, while 12 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 73.65 points up at 17962.6.

On the BSE, SBL Infratech Ltd., Magellanic Cloud, Sword-ECommer, Systematix Sec and Sharanam Infra hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Odyssey Tech, Pondy Oxides, Swarnsarita Gems, Natural Capsule and Amco India touched their fresh 52-week highs.
