Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 35 stocks were trading in the green, while 14 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 52.78 points up at 60037.48 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, IRCTC(down 17.22 per cent), S R Industries(down 17.22 per cent), Subex(down 12.77 per cent), Gensol Engg(down 12.64 per cent) and RBL Bank(down 10.03 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 35 stocks traded in the green, while 14 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 32.55 points up at 17889.8.

On the BSE, Adishakti Loha and Ispat Ltd., Suvidhaa Infoserve Ltd., ThirdwaveFinIntrm, Advance Lifestyles Ltd. and Systematix Sec hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Oriental Veneer, SDC Techmedia, Canara Bank , S M Gold and Jenburkt Pharma touched their fresh 52-week highs.
