Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 37 stocks were trading in the green, while 13 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 247.76 points up at 60306.82 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Unique Organics(down 14.57 per cent), RTCL Ltd(down 14.46 per cent), Suumaya Corporation Ltd.(down 10.00 per cent), Super Tex Ind(down 9.94 per cent) and AK Spintex L(down 9.87 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 37 stocks traded in the green, while 13 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 95.4 points up at 17990.6.

On the BSE, Arnold Holdings, SBL Infratech Ltd., Jiya Eco Products Lt, Negotium Intl and Vax Housing Fin hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Kirloskar Elec, Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works Ltd., USG Tech, Prevest Denpro Ltd. and Essar Shipping touched their fresh 52-week highs.
