Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 47.79 points up at 82248.13 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Shiva Granito Export(down 15.90 per cent), Quint Digital Media(down 9.99 per cent), Salem Erode Invest(down 9.98 per cent), Coral Newsprint(down 8.61 per cent) and Megastar Foods(down 8.43 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.
In the Nifty pack, 16 stocks traded in the green, while 34 stocks traded in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 2.71 points down at 25088.0.
On the BSE, 7NR Retail Ltd., LCC Infotech, Shangar Decor, Dreamfolks Services and Eureka Ind hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Lords Chloro, Restile Ceramic, Nivaka Fashions, Sambhv Steel Tubes and G G Automotive Gears touched their fresh 52-week highs.
