Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 27 stocks were trading in the green, while 23 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 87.6 points up at 82341.06 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Gagan Gases(down 19.45 per cent), Trinity League(down 9.90 per cent), Mukta Agriculture(down 9.82 per cent), Fervent Syn(down 8.98 per cent) and Coral Newsprint(down 8.18 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 27 stocks traded in the green, while 23 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 23.5 points up at 25105.8.

On the BSE, Tejas Networks, Enbee Trade Fin, Raymond Realty, Capital Trust and Vantage Knowledge hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Amal Ltd, Kalpa Commercial Ltd., Soma Textiles, Rallis India and Authum Investment touched their fresh 52-week highs.
