Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 45 stocks were trading in the green, while 5 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 843.52 points up at 82740.31 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Ishita Drugs(down 12.72 per cent), Aananda Lakshmi Spin(down 9.97 per cent), Integrated Hitech Ltd.(down 9.96 per cent), Esha Media(down 7.53 per cent) and BEML(down 6.18 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 45 stocks traded in the green, while 5 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 248.2 points up at 25220.1.

On the BSE, Chitradurga Spin, Sadhana Nitro, Sharanam Infra, Sybly Ind and Remedium Lifecare hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Greycells Edu, Lakshmi Mills, ASM Tech, Shyamkamal Invst and Indosolar Ltd touched their fresh 52-week highs.
