Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 42 stocks were trading in the green, while 8 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 458.35 points up at 81576.95 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Zodiac JRD MKJ(down 9.99 per cent), Esha Media(down 9.09 per cent), Sea TV Network(down 8.98 per cent), Karma Energy(down 8.73 per cent) and Unishire Urban Infra(down 8.37 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 42 stocks traded in the green, while 8 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 146.61 points up at 24865.2.

On the BSE, Inter Globe Fin, Krishna Vent, Sadhana Nitro, Vijay Textiles and Sybly Ind hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Raj Oil Mills, Bhaskar Agro, Kwality Pharmaceutic, Camlin Fine Sc and Shaba Chemicals touched their fresh 52-week highs.
