Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 240.88 points up at 81239.13 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, GCM Capital Adv.(down 11.94 per cent), Acknit Ind(down 10.48 per cent), Parker Agrochem(down 9.97 per cent), BGIL Films & Technologies Ltd.(down 9.84 per cent) and Anupam Finserv(down 9.72 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.
In the Nifty pack, 23 stocks traded in the green, while 27 stocks traded in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 78.35 points up at 24698.55.
On the BSE, Archana Software, A F Enterprises, Pulsar International, Yarn Syndicate(PP)and Siel Financial hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Sika Interplant, NDR Auto Components, Ginni Filaments, Ador Multiprod and Narmada Macplast touched their fresh 52-week highs.
