Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 30 stocks were trading in the green, while 20 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 174.62 points up at 80912.13 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Sun Pharma Adv Res.(down 18.14 per cent), Superior Finlease(down 17.68 per cent), Yug Decor(down 11.92 per cent), Omni Axs Software (down 11.29 per cent) and Megastar Foods(down 10.06 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 30 stocks traded in the green, while 20 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 49.71 points up at 24592.2.

On the BSE, Aditya Birla Retail, Property Share Inves, Prostarm Info System, Nettlinx Ltd and Siel Financial hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Sika Interplant, Anupam Finserv, Pratik Panels, Camlin Fine Sc and Shree Global touched their fresh 52-week highs.
