Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 718.82 points up at 82439.9 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Sai Swami Metals and(down 19.70 per cent), Aztec Fluids & Machi(down 14.57 per cent), KJMC Financial(down 13.44 per cent), Purple Entertainment(down 12.97 per cent) and Cosmic CRF(down 12.30 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 45 stocks traded in the green, while 5 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 207.9 points up at 25061.05.

On the BSE, BDH Industries, Sybly Ind, JP Associates, Unistar Multi and K-Lifestyle Ind hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Khaitan(India), Frontier Spring, Amit Securities, Camlin Fine Sc and JK Cement touched their fresh 52-week highs.
