Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 44 stocks were trading in the green, while 6 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 571.22 points up at 81757.66 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Sai Swami Metals and(down 19.52 per cent), Music Broadcast(down 14.77 per cent), Chandra Bhagat Pharm(down 13.39 per cent), Tridev Infraestates(down 10.00 per cent) and Premier Synth(down 9.63 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 44 stocks traded in the green, while 6 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 168.3 points up at 24852.2.

On the BSE, Sybly Ind, Rajeswari Infra, Money Masters, Chembond Chem and Sylph Tech hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Hari Govind Int, Addi Industries, Yogi Infra Proj, SecMark Consultancy and Gabriel India touched their fresh 52-week highs.
