Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 2284.17 points up at 81738.64 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Coral Newsprint(down 9.97 per cent), Tridev Infraestates(down 9.93 per cent), Beeyu Overseas(down 8.82 per cent), PNGS Gargi Fashion(down 8.64 per cent) and Indo Asia Fin(down 8.61 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.
In the Nifty pack, 49 stocks traded in the green, while 1 stocks traded in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 706.6 points up at 24714.6.
On the BSE, Vijay Textiles, Gensol Engg, Chembond Chem, Career Point and Rajeswari Infra hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Stampede Cap(DVR), India Shelter Finance Corp, Manorama Ind, Tricom Fruit and G R Cables touched their fresh 52-week highs.
