Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 33 stocks were trading in the green, while 17 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 471.94 points up at 80714.18 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, PM Telelinks(down 8.40 per cent), Valson Ind(down 8.40 per cent), Bloom Ind(down 7.56 per cent), Phoenix Mills(down 6.42 per cent) and Incap Ltd. (down 6.23 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 33 stocks traded in the green, while 17 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 95.4 points up at 24429.6.

On the BSE, G V Films, Gensol Engg, Dhruv Consultancy, Sterling Guar and Sharp Investments hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Force Motors, Parsharti Invst, Ind Link Chain, Desh Rakshak and Soni Medicare touched their fresh 52-week highs.
