Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 39 stocks were trading in the green, while 11 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 771.37 points up at 79983.9 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Shivansh Finserve(down 15.41 per cent), Superior Finlease(down 11.87 per cent), Associated Alcohols & Breweries(down 11.46 per cent), Tejas Networks(down 10.58 per cent) and SML Isuzu(down 9.99 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 39 stocks traded in the green, while 11 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 220.81 points up at 24260.15.

On the BSE, Ramkrishna Forg, Sterling Guar, Gensol Engg, IGC Industries and Shri Niwas Leasing hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Kachchh Mineral, Country Condos, Everest Org, Paradeep Phosphates and Reliance Naval & Engg touched their fresh 52-week highs.
