Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 26 stocks were trading in the green, while 24 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 258.96 points up at 79667.46 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Shree Krishna Infras(down 16.60 per cent), Aditya Ispat(down 12.12 per cent), Virgo Global (down 9.90 per cent), India Lease Dev(down 9.29 per cent) and Pasupati Spinning (down 8.23 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 26 stocks traded in the green, while 24 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 65.61 points up at 24191.15.

On the BSE, Dhruva Capital, Gensol Engg, Boston Bio Systems Ltd., AGS Transact Tech and Sterling Guar hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Dalmia Industrial Development, Sika Interplant, Rubra Medica, Deccan Bearings and NACL Industries touched their fresh 52-week highs.
