Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 772.72 points up at 73910.62 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Sai Swami Metals and(down 18.53 per cent), Spenta Intnl(down 14.15 per cent), Paragon Finance(down 12.64 per cent), Kanpur Plastip(down 11.18 per cent) and Boston Bio Systems Ltd.(down 9.92 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.
In the Nifty pack, 46 stocks traded in the green, while 4 stocks traded in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 278.91 points up at 22440.5.
On the BSE, Boston Bio Systems Ltd., SRU Steels, Aaswa Trading, Kay Power & Paper and Gensol Engg hit their fresh 52-week lows, while NACL Industries, Anka India, RSC Intnl, Maruti Sec and Swadeshi Ind touched their fresh 52-week highs.
