Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 37 stocks were trading in the green, while 13 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 448.8 points up at 77737.3 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, PM Telelinks(down 17.56 per cent), Koura Fine Diamond(down 12.88 per cent), Omni Axs Software (down 11.72 per cent), Sri Nachammai(down 10.29 per cent) and Saptak Chem(down 10.00 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 37 stocks traded in the green, while 13 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 126.66 points up at 23613.5.

On the BSE, Kesoram Inds., Nxtdigital, Silverpoint Infratech, Sri Lakshmi Saraswathi Textiles and Suvidhaa Infoserve hit their fresh 52-week lows, while RSC Intnl, Texel Ind, M B Parikh Fin, Cinerad Comm(PP)and Euro Asia Exports touched their fresh 52-week highs.
