Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 706.29 points up at 77611.8 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, PM Telelinks(down 19.81 per cent), Purple Entertainment(down 16.58 per cent), Ekennis Software Service(down 13.56 per cent), Pentokey Organy(down 13.21 per cent) and Unitech Intnl(down 11.25 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.
In the Nifty pack, 39 stocks traded in the green, while 11 stocks traded in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 214.4 points up at 23564.8.
On the BSE, Standard Surfact, Advance Syntex, Arshiya, Eros Media and Enbee Trade Fin hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Cura Tech, Dhanalaxmi Roto, Ador Multiprod, Towa Sokki and Kaveri Seed Co. touched their fresh 52-week highs.
