Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 35 stocks were trading in the green, while 15 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 160.58 points up at 75461.84 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, SDC Techmedia(down 19.60 per cent), Olympic Cards(down 19.20 per cent), Purple Entertainment(down 14.11 per cent), Ekennis Software Service(down 14.00 per cent) and RLF Ltd(down 13.56 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 35 stocks traded in the green, while 15 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 62.3 points up at 22896.6.

On the BSE, Classic Filaments, H S India, Delta Industrial Res, Shah Foods and Prime Ind hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Starlog Enterprises, Vadilal Ind, Swaraj Engines, Ajax Engineering and Balgopal Commercial touched their fresh 52-week highs.
