Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 808.34 points up at 74978.29 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Looks Health Services(down 16.42 per cent), DAPS Advertising(down 16.01 per cent), Ekennis Software Service(down 14.78 per cent), Khandelwal Extr(down 14.76 per cent) and Diggi Multitrade(down 10.52 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 46 stocks traded in the green, while 4 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 244.66 points up at 22753.4.

On the BSE, ST Corporation, Hemadri Cements, Deccan Health Care, Anuroop Packaging and Rose Merc. Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Shantai Industries, RSC Intnl, JSW Holdings, Euro Asia Exports and Manipal Finance touched their fresh 52-week highs.
