Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 29 stocks were trading in the green, while 21 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 244.86 points up at 74699.27 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Pearl Green Clubs(down 19.05 per cent), Khandelwal Extr(down 17.50 per cent), Integra Capital(down 12.33 per cent), Evoq Remedies(down 9.95 per cent) and India Finsec(down 9.39 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 29 stocks traded in the green, while 21 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 41.5 points up at 22594.85.

On the BSE, ENIL, AGS Transact Tech, Indef Manufacturing, Suratwwala Business and Hipolin Ltd hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Hira Automobiles, Gyan Developers, Mahan Ind, Triumph International Finance India Ltd. and United Credit touched their fresh 52-week highs.
