Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 29 stocks were trading in the green, while 21 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 391.56 points up at 76229.92 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Vision Corp(down 20.00 per cent), Samrat Forgings(down 19.64 per cent), Novateor Research(down 19.33 per cent), Promact Impex(down 14.91 per cent) and Parker Agrochem(down 14.22 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 29 stocks traded in the green, while 21 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 95.8 points at 23120.45.

On the BSE, Cyient DLM, Tanla Platforms, IndiaMART, Galaxy Agrico and Mahalaxmi Fabric Mil hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Palm Jewels, Hilltone Soft&Gases, Specular Mkting, Reliance Naval & Engg and High Street Filatex touched their fresh 52-week highs.
