Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 34 stocks were trading in the green, while 16 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 465.8 points up at 76965.43 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, AVI Polymers Ltd.(down 12.79 per cent), Indong Tea Co(down 11.49 per cent), Naturo Indiabull(down 10.94 per cent), NMS Resources Global(down 10.00 per cent) and Sri Adhikari(down 9.99 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 34 stocks traded in the green, while 16 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 111.8 points at 23287.85.

On the BSE, NMS Resources Global, Omega Inter.Tech, Alliance Int., Delta Industrial Res and Maxheights Infr hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Quadrant Future Tek, Standard Glass Linin, Nureca Ltd, Hilltone Soft&Gases and DJS Stock & Shares Ltd. touched their fresh 52-week highs.
