Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 27 stocks were trading in the green, while 23 stocks were trading in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 110.43 points up at 81618.89 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, VCK Cap Market(down 17.37 per cent), Robust Hotels(down 9.96 per cent), Mishtann Foods(down 9.95 per cent), Rose Merc. Ltd.(down 9.12 per cent) and Rajdarshan Ind(down 8.86 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 27 stocks traded in the green, while 23 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 30.66 points at 24649.65.

On the BSE, Rossell Techsys, Advance Lifestyles, Suraksha Diagnostic, Grandma Trading and WABCO India hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Prima Ind, Sujala Trading, Indo Asia Fin, Orient Press and Everest Org touched their fresh 52-week highs.
