Sensex rises! But these stocks are down 5% or more on BSE

In the Nifty pack, 31 stocks were trading in the green, while 19 stocks were trading in the red.

Nifty moved in a tight range of 82 points, and ended slightly below the psychologically crucial level of 15,700.
NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 330.98 points up at 81176.73 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, SM Auto(down 15.87 per cent), Integra Capital(down 10.00 per cent), Multipurpose Trading & Agencies(down 10.00 per cent), KBS India(down 9.35 per cent) and Dhanashree Electro(down 8.93 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.

In the Nifty pack, 31 stocks traded in the green, while 19 stocks traded in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 89.2 points at 24546.35.

On the BSE, Adhbhut Infra, Globale Tessile, Grandma Trading, Capital Small Finance Bank and Sanwaria Consumer hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Venmax Drugs & Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Bang Overseas, Niva Bupa Health Ins, HEG and Bharat Bhushan touched their fresh 52-week highs.
